And to make things even easier, I’ve included a handy list at the end that showcases my recommended stockpile.
New Battle Gear
One thing that’s been pretty consistent in both Shadowbringers and Endwalker is the use of each expansion’s base materials. So, it’s likely that these materials will be in demand again, just like before. The HQ versions of these items might see a decent price jump, as new recipes could be a bit tough to hit 100% quality without the help of HQ materials.

Even if it doesn’t feature in a popular food choice or any food at all, it can still be employed for purple scrips. Garlean Cheese, Palm Sugar, and Perilla Oil are also expected to be incorporated in some recipes, so I plan to stockpile a substantial amount of these items. Lastly, while Jhinga won’t be included in any new food recipes in 6.4, it will be used in the crafting and gathering food, ensuring its continued relevance.

One effective strategy I like to employ in preparation for patch releases is stockpiling purple scrip collectables. By handing these in when the patch goes live, I can acquire what I need and sell any surplus on the marketboard, generating a substantial profit.
For the upcoming patch, I recommend focusing on gathering materials for Rarefied Sykon Bavarois. Even if you have leftover materials, you can expect their prices to spike upon the patch’s release, making it a smart investment.
